For testers, observe that this changes the fs-update display slightly:

1.  when it is finished, most of the blocks are green, only a few are
grey; previously the proportion was different,

2.  the proportion of green blocks is no longer an indication of the
total usage of the internal storage; previously the proportion was
indicative,

3.  the total blocks number will be the same regardless of the size of
the internal storage, but will vary by build; previously this value
remained static across builds,

4.  the rate of green blocks filling grey blocks will be faster, because
the number of blocks per square is lower; previously it was higher, and
this slowed the display.
