Installing activities properly

OS Builder and the Customisation Stick currently do not install
activities properly. My understanding of the behaviour is that they
unzip the bundle, but they do not execute the setup.py installation
script. This means that, for example, mimetypes are not correctly
defined.

The matter is detailed at http://dev.laptop.org/ticket/10427, and we
submitted a fix a couple of months ago. Is there any chance of getting
this merged?
