It would appear that the messup of the XO-1 NAND mentioned in the above mails is more serious than I thought.
Trying to re-install os18 I get the OFW message
"Image size is not multiple of the NAND erase block size"
Booting from an external device `cat /proc/mtd' gives:
dev: size erasesize name
mtd0: 40000000 00020000 "NAND 512MiB 3,3V 8-bit"
and nothing else
However, I can still `mount -t jffs2 /dev/mtdblock2 /mnt/boot' and get /bootpart, but now I get identical results for mtdblock0 and 1.
So I was wondering if I could fix this problem and if yes, where should I start reading...
BTW I do have a serial connector if needed.
