This is definitely the best answer for now: convert it to OGG
theora+vorbis using ffmpeg2theora or a similar tool. You can then play
it back in Browse or Jukebox.
You may have to drop the resolution of the video while doing this. It
will be quicker to do it on a beefier machine. But once you find the
right profile, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the video
capabilities of the XO.
As for youtube, you may be able to find a different version of flash
which performs better (many of them, including perhaps the current
stable, don't use any of the hardware acceleration features of the
XO). But I doubt you'll find one that works great. Instead, we should
look forward to future software releases (Fedora 15 onwards) that
include WebM, and wait for youtube to finish converting all their
media.
