I wrote one, you can find it here:

It replicates a series of writes that were performed by a
multiple-second sync() on my XO-1.5 at the time. It's a destructive
test.

But this probably isn't what you're looking for, if you're looking to
work on the VFS layer. The problem can't be fixed there, but it could
hopefully be made less painful.
