That's fedora 9, with gstreamer from Fedora 7.

This activity requires Fedora 10 + corresponding gstreamer version or newer.
(I spent months looking for a way to make it work nicely on both old
and new, without sacrificing features or code quality, and failed.
It's just not worth it.)
