On XO-1 soas03xo has flaky behavior

I'm experiencing more and more forgetfulness -- but I don't recall 
the "crash on vertical scrolling" problem occurring on F11 (or 
earlier) builds from laptop.org.  Note that soas03xo is F12-based.
