Maybe dsd packaged the wrong version, or forgot to depend on avahi-tools?

I've been using these utilities the last few days w/o problems. The
only issue I can see is that olpc-connections overstates 'seen xos' by
1.

I looked at what you've posted in the bug - but it's rather
incomplete. Can you make sure you give us a rundown of the "four omit
some information (and get back errors from some of the things they
invoke)"?
