interoperability between different versions of sugar

I can now see the eeePC (running F11/0.84) from the XOs running
8.2.1/0.82 but it seems not visa-versa although I'm not convinced I
can see everything in the neighbourhood view as it took me a while to
find the AP to connect in the first place.
