Yea, here's the ticket I opened if you want to add a comment:

Browse is really the last Activity that should be the default for  
viewing items, though I understand why it endede up the default (i.e.  
it's there and it works). Taking a leaf out of Mac OSX we should  
probably have a minimal footprint view activity for showing images and  
perhaps a few other common formats. Must launch real quick and eat the  
least ram possible. This view activity could probably be hacked  
together initially as a separate Activity in the short term (like  
Preview on OSX), but ideally it would probably be part of the sugar  
shell (like QuickLook on OSX).
