A problem here is that various deployments have their own activity
URLs, e.g:

http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Activities/Peru

which might pin an older version for stability or translation reasons.
Of course, the existing system doesn't cater for this either.

I'm currently looking at whether the school server might easily
announce its activity server via DHCP or Avahi, and have the XOs react
accordingly.
