but the changes are, briefly:
 Trac #8306: security updates from F9
 Trac #8289: bounce performance regression.

These changes were a bit riskier than the other things put into 758,
so we decided to give them their own release; if early testing finds
big flaws in 759, then we can fallback to 758 for a testing candidate.
