That text appears in the EULA (presumably for the binary), not the
source license: http://www.google.com/chrome/eula.html?hl=en
I suppose one could just build one's own binary, and escape the rather
insane terms of service this way.
As for the memory footprint, some very quick and unscientific(!) tests
indicate that with five open tabs, Google Chrome uses more memory than
Opera does with 18 open tabs.
