You can also do this from the OFW prompt without using any USB key,
provided you have an open wireless network nearby ...

Assuming your open wireless network ESSID is "frodo", the sequence is:

essid frodo
flash http:\\dev.laptop.org\pub\firmware\q2e20\q2e20.rom

Take careful note that the slashes are reversed.  I've often used this
method, though I usually bring the file onto a local web server and use
a shorter path ... http:\\x\y
