Yeah, that's what the * is for. I have tremendous difficulty using OS X
precisely because I cannot figure out how it distinguishes between
launching a new instance and focusing an existing instance. The Dock is a
usability disaster for me precisely because it combines these operations
so tightly that I am bewildered every time I want to tease them apart.
