G1G1-2008 US machines delivered with 8.1 build 708, not with 8.2 build 767

Bert -

You should assume nothing, and you should send questions about G1G1  
distribution to help at laptop.org, not to a list of software  
developers - that's where you will find the folks who actually know  
what's going on <g>.
