There was a previous discussion around this idea, that ultimately led
me to a place where I think that its going to be extrememly ahrd, if
not impossible, to accomplish this in a sufficiently useful way.
Unless we can actually make the extra space appear as though its an
extension of the Journal (and not an external device) do I see any
real benefit.
