how about removing obvious cache files instead - so we can combine
this with Erik's? /var/cache has several candidates we know are safe
(yum dirs) and
.sugar/default/org.laptop.WebActivity/data/gecko/Cache/
I don't have my XO handy but can make up a list once I get to the
office if desired...
Although nothing we do populates yum, the local teams may be
installing new packages via yum/rpm. Uy does it, for example.
