I've attached the srpm and binary RPMs to the ticket here
https://dev.laptop.org/ticket/7392 - probably not the normal workflow,
(any pointers?) but I'm sure you can grab them from there.

btw, Michael, if you look at the git repo, I have added a few smarts
to the git-aware rpm build scripts that you might find useful. Tricks
that I've seen used in the packaging of git itself.
