How to change the screen resolution ?

Hello
I would like to change the screen resoltuion of my
olpc

I have tried to pass an argument to the kernel
video=gxfb:1024x768-16
but it failed

I also tried to test the DCON with OpenFirmware
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/DCON_Testing
but it also failed

Can you help me ?
