In other words, `ls ~/Library` and `ls
~/Library/*/library/library.info` is your first API. Have a look at
the wikipages mentioned earlier for an idea of the metadata you can
expect to find there and other bits of the "API".

It's POSIX style rather than J2EE style :-)
