No, IIRC for Ethiopean locale GTK is using Ethiopian IM module by
default (unless you specify GTK_IM_MODULE=xim)

Looks ok. Would it make sense to have layout 'us,et' instead of just
'et'? It is an important matter - whether Ethiopian kids should be
able to input latin/English texts.
