And provided that they happen to have backlight LEDs from the same batch 
that you tested.

To save cost, we don't spec the LED color tightly - rather we specify 
that all of the LEDs that go into an individual LED bar must be matched 
to each other.  There can be substantial unit to unit color variations 
in the "white" of the backlight.

Apparently this increases the LED manufacturing yield, dropping the 
price significantly.
