Hi John,
I repeated the process with my local repo. ( I mean, we use to sync fedora
repo on our local server ).
I put the latest Fedora 7 url path in both,
olpc-development-livecd-yum-install.conf and fired the pilgrim-autobuild
command.
After generating the ISO, I tried to boot it with qemu.
The moment it uncompresses the kernel, it gives following error.
-> udevd[237]: add_to_rules: the 'device' link is deprecated and will be
removed from a future kernel, please fix it in /etc/udev/rules.d/00-
cdlabel.rules:1
WARNING : cannot find root file system
<-
Then it starts shell. Even though I haven't found any /dev/mapper/livecd-rw
thing to generate link.
Well, I also had one good experience, when I tried this link I got proper
livecd through pilgrim.
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/6/i386/os/
That's the only reason, I am confused weather it is because of repo issue or
coz of some packages issue.
Can you please suggest me,what am I suppose to do to skip the udev warning
and get proper livecd on any repo.
regards,
Sachin T
