Declaring code freeze for Update.1 today would not see a rational
resolution of these issue. As promised, this is a release that is
driven by completion of content, rather than driven by necessity of
hardware schedules.
A number of major issues aren't resolved right now, including resolution
of containerization of the browse activity. And there are too many
blocker and high priority bugs open (some of which should not be; please
review and update your bugs found at: http://tinyurl.com/2b7qt2 so that
we can get a better view on the state of Update.1.
It feels to me we're about a week from reaching real code freeze on a
good release. I've adjusted the schedule in the roadmap
http://dev.laptop.org/milestone/Update.1 to reflect this.
Thank you all for all your hard work!
