Porting Illumination

Hello

(sorry i'm only just getting the hang of posting to this group properly . . . ?

  Don --

No, I'm intending to port the entire Illumination Book Creation and publishing suite over -- so that indeed the kids can write their own e-books.
  ---------

BTW, I posted a demo of what Illumination is all about to the group as an attachment but it is 13MB so the moderator cancelled it --- quite properly since it would otherwise be taking up umpteen MB on your server !

But if anyone wants to look at it --- it's fairly rock-and-roll as presentations go -- and is prepared to download those umpteen MB, just put your name up here and I'll send it as an attachment directly to your own email address.

And please keep the advice coming, I need all the help I can get and so does my proposed young programming assistant (who has Asperger's Syndrome so her interaction with other people is limited, but she's going to be okay with me).

I think my Borland C was 16 bit? No, wait a mo, it used 'long' . . . . I'm going to get it up and running on my second PC this morning, which has Windows 95 on it so it doesn't **** up DOS the way XP does . . .

  Cheers and luv, Martin
