I found no way to turn off IPv4 in the kernel config, IPv6 only becomes
selectable if IPv4 is selected. We may want to look for patches removing
that limitation.

Why not issue a call for small code to the known crypto developers
(openssl, libtomcrypt, gnupg...) and wait what comes out? We might be
lucky and get code for signature checking which is much smaller than
expected.
