This may not be Insyde. Olpcflash puts the 8051 inside the EC into reset
and then leaves it that way.
After you were done flashing in linuxbios how did you reset the board?
Did you press the reset button or use a software reboot? A software
reboot (perhaps even the reset switch) may not actually un-reset the 8051.
But a power cycle would.
I'll test this tonght and see.
