 I don't know whether we will be able to do streaming decompression with
 lzma given our constraints. Streaming decompression increases the scratch
 space requirements from ~15kb to ~1Mb. However, if we have enough RAM to
 do that at this stage, I can try to rewrite my lzma patch to do streaming
 decompression.
