This is all in refrence to the Pre-BTest board at the OLPC office.
Working with Andres to try and make sure that everything was working on
it, we've seen a few cases of things being 'flaky', and now it looks
potentially dead.
Until yesterday the i8042 code was finding both ports, however on some
boots the keyboard or the aux port didn't seem to be working, sometimes
both. Sometimes this went away on reloading psmouse or atkbd, but
sometimes it needed a reboot. _Some_ of this may have been related to the
fact that we were not getting i8042 interrupts, but now that we have that
fixed we have some other issues.
Specificly, as of yesterday the keyboard port seems to be working most of
the time, but the i8042 module is not finding the AUX port at all, it
looks like it's sending the 0xd3 command, followed by another byte, which
is the 'loopback' command, we should be able to read that byte right back.
Instead we're timing out. This is causing the code to think that we have
no AUX port.
We rebooted and powercycled a few times, and this was happening even with
nothing connected to the AUX port at all.
I still don't know if the previous issues were in any way related to this,
or the interrupts, or if we have multiple things going on here, but we
need to identify what's going on with this.
