Chris Blizzard
   - talk to adam and get 7.2 X server build in tree
   - get sysprof, memprof, oprofile in
   - prod Adam (RedHat person) to communicate with Jordan to
     make X play with DCON.

Zephaniah
   - send Chris information necessary to create an X
     configuration that makes the touchpad "just work".

Jordan
   - make trac entries for any PRS issues that require LinuxBIOS changes.
   - open a trac bug about the text rendering speed problem.

Jim
   - ask Walter send Z. the keyboard layout.  (already done)
   - communicate with Marcello about tmpfs thing.

Ray
   - try to get some battery stuff in the pre-B board so we can work on 
the driver.

Richard
   - follow up on trac 113.

Discussion:

Build 91 is in good shape, proposed for widespread deployment.

New sugar build with stable web brower and better look.

Performance tools in build 91 - strace, ltrace in.  sysprof requires
a kernel module.  memprof submitted for inclusion but not in yet.

oprofile needs NMI-capable interrupts.  Some question about whether
that's doable.

PRS: Jordan has been reviewing.  Making a Wiki page based on Tom's notes.

Priorites for BTest build - drivers and testing.

Apple is going to relicense Squeak under an Apache license, we need to 
package it.

Quanta needs power management features.

Lilian Walter will probably start on the task next week.  Mitch has
done some LB hacks to get back into the kernel.  Many of the register
settings in the core logic will have evaporated.

Ray thinks that battery management functions in EC will be ready by Oct 20.
Will we have time to do a battery driver?  The battery is still hand-made;
we don't have the real manufactured battery.  

Driver status:

Input: Zephaniah - we have a functional kernel driver that needs minor
tweaks before sending upstream.  Needs calibration values from Andres.
X driver is in pretty good shape too.  Kernel driver is in mainstream
XF86 fbdev.

We are going to switch over to a a KB3700 keyboard controller that will
have some mode differences that will save power.

What does Z. need for X builds?

Marcello plans to submit Marvell wireless to mainline the end of the month.

DC measurement: see trac discussion.

DCON: backlight driver is now in kernel.  Just needs testing and perhaps
minor tweaks.  Preserve picture when graphics engine.

Camera driver is working.  Jon will start pushing it upstream immediately.
12 image sensors are on the way to us.

SD driver: we don't know if its working yet.  Hardware went to Pierre 
Ossman,
the SD driver maintainer.  Mitch will get a pre-B board with an Altera FPGA.

New trac milestone "opportunity" that can be used to assign projects to 
volunteers.

Need to be able to reset the EC as well as the processor.

Marco has agreed to create a sugar log file.

tmp fs in ram:  Chris says FC6 has a flag you can set to make initscripts
put temporary stuff in RAM.
