 Well, the first step is for OLPC to make a list specific problems (startup
 time, memory usage etc.) you have with hal - it's only a 'yum install hal'
 away on devel_ext3 and devel_jffs2 images...

 For the record, the last time I tried running hal on a A-test board it
 wasn't really that bad. It would certainly make it easier for me and
 Richard to prioritize what we need to do once we have a list of specific
 problems for OLPC. Thanks.
