Ron,
Here's an email from Tom (regarding the FLASH command for FS2) that may
help:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is a little slow (~3 minutes) but it does work. It needs a little
wrapping to work properly with the ROMs we usually use, I have the
script posted at:
[snip... Script attached in the ZIP file]
The flash.cfg there is an example, the end user needs to modify their
own flash.cfg (in the directory where they installed FS2) and add the
section for their flash device. The flash.cfg I have posted has an entry
for a 49LF002A (which works fine for 004A, too) For GX, set the tckrate
to 4MHz, for LX, set it to 7MHz. Then, do a "config flash SST49LF002A"
in the CLI [SG: Command line interface], and source the tcl script. The
ROM file name is hard coded in that script, it can be changed as needed.
