Ron,

We use a compression technique on VSA as well, and I'm sorry I didn't
think of suggesting it.

I've also asked the author of VSA if he can help us get the required
space for VSA down to the minimum (take out unsupported chipsets, etc.).
I'll let you know if we find anything.
