for now, no need to be fancy. Just set it up to ALWAYS go to the 
whatever-it-is and do a make. This system is tiny -- it does not hurt to 
do the occasional superfluous make -- it's much better than going 
through the flash dance and realizing that olpc-boot-loader did not get 
remade ...
