Hi,
My web .swf need 338 MB RAM.
The two most famous web in Thailand http://pantip.com/ and
http://manager.co.th/ need 29 MB RAM to play .swf
So far OLPC will take 90% CPU to play those web with smooth slow looking
but cause no problem like playing my web http://supat.eu.org/
BUT in future, it will have more .swf in Thai web.
We should solve this problem earlier before problem become serious.
Did anyone has solution for .swf player, plug-in yet?
NXserver/VNCreflector idea may solve this problem?
Or we need to build servers for OLPC to connect around the world?
I am also test mplayer playing under OLPC and found that if playing big
file on my web like:
mplayer http://supat.eu.org/~supat/intro/mov00001.mpg
then OLPC will crash in few minutes.
That is another point to consider in OLPC development.
Students will reject OLPC if it cannot play multimedias on internet.
regards,
supat
