I have now booted a kernel from linuxbios, and from that kernel, I've 
booted another kernel that successfully jffs2'ed the flash. I am now 
downloading the -42 image and will try to install it tonight.

The kexec issues seem entirely tied to the cs553* driver, though I do 
not know why. If I make just that one piece a module, all kexec is fine, 
all mtd is fine, and all jffs2 is fine. So, making that one piece a 
module is a simple workaround, until we fix it.

I hope this week to wrap up the reflash program.
