[Content] some basic git question

Hi!

I know it is a bit offtopic, but how can I checkout this[1] file with
the
 git command?
I want to have this file on my hard disk as is (and not inside a html
document).

I see some really big files (.pdf one) which is impossible to see on the
web[2].

Anyone?
