and the non-profit nature of the OLPC foundation.<br></blockquote><br></div>So really, those of us unlucky enough to have received a defective battery and not have realized it until after the 30 day warranty period wind up incurring the additional cost, even though the problem is widespread and through no fault of the purchaser. <br>
<br>I will purchase that battery when it's available.
