A good place to start, for gaining information about the OLPC XO is
the wiki website maintained by the OLPC and community volunteers:

The latest 'Official" release of the XO software is version 8.2.0 and
instructions on upgrading your XO to this latest release are available
from this page:

And, of course, if you have questions you can post to the Internet and
get help from the community.
