Hello, all

(Apologies for the previous empty message)

1) Swap files on the XO (w/Sugar):

I experimentally added a 512MB swap file to my XO (recently upgraded to 8.2.0) - the process is rather trivial. The swap file is on a Class 6 SDHC card. Could such swap files improve performance? I imagine that the transfer and read/write rates should be a big factor here. Is the read/write speed too slow to improve the system performance? Any particular applications/activities that would benefit from swap?

2) Using the following directions I was able to make my XO generate csound (polyphonic) tones by sending MIDI signals from an external keyboard to the XO (via a USB Midi adapter):

Is there any way to configure any or all of the three TamTam activities to use an external keyboard for input?

TIA

Andrew
