[olpc-help] Confused about updating G1G1 XO

An XO will continue to check as long as it is "in secure mode" (i.e. locked).

Having a developer key on-hand allows the XO to be unlocked (which
does prevent the auto-update) but the developer key itself does not
change the auto-update behavior.
