[olpc-help] Forum support: why is the forum time set to GMT+8 hours ?

I'm curious why the forums were set up with a "local" time of GMT+8 hours, which would put us somewhere in Indonesia. Seems a very odd choice and it makes it really hard to decipher which postings were done today and which are yesterday's.

Could we get it set to something more normal like GMT MINUS 4 hours (East Coast US) or GMN MINUS 7 hours (West Coast US)?
