As follow-up to my message above, I tried using Browse to download Shoutcast playlists, and then launch them in Journal. That does not work. Nothing launches. But ...
If I go to Live 365 using Opera, I found that I could stream a Classical station. I just clicked play. Totem opened, buffered the stream and played it for an extended period. So, this worked exactly the way it should.

I shut down Totem, and went back to Live365 on Opera to try another station. I clicked Play, but consistently got an Opera "cannot allocate memory" message.

Back to Browse, I navigated to Live365, and downloaded a playlist. I went to Journal and tried without success to launch it. Then, I went to the Terminal and Lauched Totem. It took some trial and error, but somehow - I really don't know how - I got Totem to load a Live365 location using the Mivie>Open Location interface. I just don't know how to do it again.

With Totem streaming the Live365 station. I launched Opera, and opened to this Forum. I've inputted this reply with the stream playing, although a minute ago it died. Don't know why.

Could anyone tell me how to navigate to the Journal in the file system. It seems to me that, if I could do that using Totem's Add Playlist, I could load a stream from Journal, and hopefully open it.

I suppose for kids this is all intuitive, right? I'm too old.
