[olpc-help] Wireless Connectivity - Or Lack Thereof

Dear Community Support Forum:

We are working with the following equipment:

  Router - D-Link DI-808HV
  Wireless Access Point - D-Link DWL-2100AP

We have put the MAC Address of the XO into our Wireless Access Point. (Is it possible that I need to put in the MAC Address of the computer's Wireless Network Card? If so, how do I find it?)

We have completed all the steps described in the "WPA Manual Setting" workaround found on the OLPC website - including entering "1" and then "2" for the WPA version of the access point.

And still . . . the "Neighborhood" view gives no indication that the XO is aware of our network. There is no little circle representing our "home36" network.

We are running two MAC's and three PC's wirelessly off of our network with no problems. Understandably, I am not interested in doing anything to our settings that will either (1) compromise our security or (2) impair the connectivity of the computers we are running without issue on the network.

Please advise.

Thank you.
