[olpc-help] gizmo or skype and how to?

Hello Helpers in OX Land,

Thanks for the su advice Anita. I did not know that  was what su did.

I did it though and I am going to write down what I see on my OX screen, I am on my Mac).

I did the su and got

          -bash-3.2# 

I then wrote in

           yum install libXScrSaver
then got

olpc_local-ship2                                                     951 B 00:00

olpc_koji-ship 2    100% |=====================| 2.4 kB 00:00

Excluding Packages from OLPC development (koji sources)
Finished
Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
No package libXScrSaver available.
Nothing to do


And I am now at

-bash-3.2#

I seem to have gotten as far as testing my sound files with those familiar SKYPE sounds we know and love with
alsamixer
