Hi,

Yes, you can boot from USB using ext3 images, the problem is  that for
latest builds this images are not being constructed anymore.

you'd have to tweak the jffs2 images to do so.

But i don't know if the cost of adapting the jffs2  is worthy, i suggest to
do an emulation of the latest images
