[olpc-help] XO won't boot

Thanks for the reply.  I did finally get it working again (yay!) by 
copying the fs and 656 files to a brand new usb stick and re-flashing 
it .  I guess I'll have to be more careful about overloading the XO 
so this doesn't happen again.  I'm also going to keep your 
instructions below because, while I didn't have any crucial files on 
the XO, I did have some that I would have liked to have kept and it 
would be nice to have a bootable SD card that can get me out of 
difficult situations without such drastic measures.
