[olpc-help] Browser failed to connect

Actiontec wireless gateway that works for 3 yr old mac and 2.5 yr old dell doesn't work for my G1G1 OLPC.  I think I connected with it once, but ever since it doesn't show up in neighborhood view screen.  I turned off all security and even reset the gateway to no effect.

actiontec is model GT704-wg and has firmware 3.130.1.0.6.1, the latest according to web site of my isp, tds metrocom.
