[olpc-help] Connecting to WIFI via Apple Airport Extreme

I have a new Apple Airport Extreme Wireless access point with 128 bit WEP security, and I just got an XO (build 650).
I followed the XO directions religiously about connecting (convert the passphrase to HEX, use the HEX Key Type, and use the shared key authentication.).  It will not connect, it just pauses for a few seconds when I press OK and then returns to the "Wireless Key Required" screen.  I have several other computers that can connect, so I know the system is working.
Can anyone help?
